Privy
Proteus uses non-custodial wallets powered by Privy.
Privy is the same wallet solution used by Hyperliquid, Pump.fun, Jupiter, and OpenSea.
When you set up automations like AI agents or copy trading, you authorize Proteus as a session signer. This lets Proteus execute trades on your behalf while keeping your private keys protected. All sensitive operations happen in Privy's Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs).
Proteus does not have and will never have direct access to your keys. Only you can export your keys. The authorization is opt-in and can be revoked at any time.
To revoke Proteus's session signer:
Go to your profile menu
Click Disable Auto Trades
Done. Proteus can no longer execute on your behalf.
Funding
Click Deposit in the header.
Options:
